Explanation:

Former chief secretary Prahlad Mahishi released a special book on art ‘Chitrasutra’ authored by famed artist Arya Acharya at a function held here and said book on the art of the fifth century has relevance even now. He said it is a guide to all the students of art and drawing.

Terming the book as an encyclopedia for the Indian painters, Mahishi said, the book is a compilation of various Indian paintings and drawings which have been well recognized across the world. “Though, painting is an inborn talent, nurturing the raw talent is necessary. Hence, ‘Chitrasutra’, is one such book which will give thorough knowledge of various kinds of paintings including the Madhubani style of painting”, he noted.
