Abu'l- Faizal ibn Mubarak is the author of Akbarnama.
Abul fazl was one of the nine jewels of Akbar's Royal court. Abul fazl was a man of wide culture and pure spiritual ideas. He wrote the official history of Akbar's reign in 3 volumes. This book gives the history of Akbar's forefathers from Timur to Humayun and Akbar's reign till 1602. Abu fazl was killed by Vir singh Bundela.
