The author of the novel is  Adwaita Mallabarman. It is the story about a girl who belongs to a fisherman's family. Her parents were separated during their wedding night. As the life of city is influencing that girl and the whole community, disputes rose between them. As the community is dependent on fishing, the drying of the river causes in the tragic death of the community.
