Terry Pratchett is the author of the book "What is Nation".

The book was published on 11th September in the year 2008 in United Kingdom. It was the first non-Disc world Pratchett book unveiled after Johnny and the Bomb which was published in 1996.

The book was awarded as a Michael L. Printz Honor Book for the year 2009. The novel is based on an alternative history of our world during 1860s. It was shortly launched after Charles Darwin`s book On the Origin of Species.
