Chandra babu Naidu was considered best CM of composite AP. Once the state got bifurcated he has to face multiple problems. Jagan Mohan competing with him is looked upon as a threat as Naidu thinks he may collude with BJP to defeat him. That is why, i presume, he is insistant on Special status for AP despite BJP leadership offered to give all financial help short of Special Status, which if conceded BJP will have to face claims from other similar states like Telengana.
