Euclid was a scholar at Plato's Academy in Athens, where he learned some mathematics that he presented in his books. He had a belief that can be proved true by using pure logic and resiom. In his book, he began with basic definitions of a point a line and shapes. He used those basic definations to prove various result in plane geometry, for instance, all right angles are equal, we can draw a straight line between any two points and the Two things which are both equal to the same things are equal to each other.
Euclid, in his later writting used more advanced maths, which include the attributes of triangle and circles, irrational numbers and three-dinensionak geometry, etc. Euclid deduced the principles of Euclidean geometry from a small set of axioms .
