Hey Friend,
Tipu Sultan was born in Devanahalli (Bangalore), Karnataka in 10 November 1750. He was the ruler of Mysore. He was the successor of his Father Hyder Ali who ruled over Mysore from 1761 to 1782.
Tipu Sultan's full name was Badshah Nasibuddaulah Sultan Fateh Ali Bahadur Sahab Tipu.
His Army was the best army ever which was full of modern technologies. He was one of the few South Indian kings to provide stiff resistance to British imperialism, along with Hyder Ali and Kerala Varma Pazhassi.
He was one of the greatest freedom fighter of his time who always fought against British.
He said that "Geedarh ki sau saala zindagi sey sher ki aik din ki zindagi behtar hei" . In english it is "A coward dies hundred times a day, the brave meets death but once".
The answer is so long but I hope u will like it.
