Jawaharlal Nehru is our first PrimeMinister of India. He sworned in as the first Prime Minister in the year 15th August 1947 till his death in 27th May 1964. He gave his famous speech tryst with destiny in Lal Qila or Red Fort on the occasion of our first Independence Day on 15th August, 1947.
