Indu Malhotra was born on 14 March 1956 in Bengaluru. she did her Schooling in Carmel convent school in New Delhi and after word B.A political science in lady Shree Ram College University of Delhi.
Afterwards her complited master degree in political science in lady Shree r college university of Delhi.
Indu Malhotra is the first woman lawyer to be directly elected as a surpreme court judge.
Indu Malhotra is the 7th woman judge in Supreme court.
Indu Malhotra join the profession in 1983 and was appointed as a senior advocate in 2007
