Baden powell, 1st baron baden powell- 'Robert Stephenson Smyth'.

But, scouting for Indians was started by Vivian bose, Pandit Hridhaynath kunzru, etc.

In India, boys guides and scouts were founded on 7 November, 1950.
While, girl joint it on 15 August, 1951.
