The grandfather of Anarkali was Khvajeh Mohammad Sharif.

Khvajeh Mohammad-Sharif was a Persian statesman, who possessed the post of vizier of a few Safavid territories. 

Mohammad-Sharif was a local of Tehran—his sibling Khvajeh Mirza Ahmad, had been selected the chairman of Ray by Shah Tahmasp I. After the demise of his dad, Mohammad-Sharif left for Khorasan, where he filled in as the vizier of Mohammad Khan Tekkelu and his child Tatar Soltan, who was the legislative leader of the Safavid area of Khorasan.

Mohammad-Sharif was later recorded under the administration of Shah Tahmasp I, where he is the start served in as the vizier of Yazd, Abarkuh, and Biabanak for a long time.
