Shri Ram Nath Kovind is the 14th and current President of our country. He became President of India on 25th July 2017. He had served as the Governor of Bihar and as a Member of Parliament from Rajya Sabha from 1994 to 2006.

Kovind was nominated as the presidential candidate by the ruling NDA coalition government and he won the 2017 presidential election. He was a lawyer by profession and had practiced in the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court before entering into politics.
