Akbar the great is the son of Humayun.

Explanation :

Akbar became the successor of Humayun in the Mughal Empire. At an early age he came into throne and led with brilliance. He united the northern parts of India extending his empire to where Pakistan and Afghanistan lie today. He made treaties with Hindu Kings, Portugals etc.

He was tolerant and wished to maintain religious harmony. He removed taxes on Hindus and other non-Muslim communities gaining their support. While these taxes have reduced the Mughal emperor income, the good-will of Akbar raised giving him the title, Akbar the great
