William Wordsworth in his poem "A Slumber did my Spirit Seal" denotes death as "slumber" or deep sleep. He says that in his entire life he was in the state of "slumber" and because of this sleep he was not able to realize that one day death will take away his Lucy from him.....

Answer:

The poem "to sleep " is a beautiful poem written by the William Wordsworth describing about his own sleepless condition. The poet is actually suffers the insomnia  so the he describes how he is unable to sleep .This poem is actually the original  nature based poem in which poet tells that he can't sleep all the night so he thinks about many things like sheep flocks and he imagine the  rain sounds etc . The poet is doing this just to get the sleep somehow but he unable to sleep since 3 days so he just trying to sleep now by doing every possible thing.
