➪ The first picture is of Jane Austen

Austen portrayed the lives of women of genteel rural society in early nineteenth-century Britain. Her novels explore the social norms that women had to follow—predominantly, their duty was to marry wealthy husbands who could offer them financial and social security. The women in Jane Austen’s novels are not always shown to conform to social convention. Although her works do typify the society she lived in, the protagonist in her novels is always an independent-minded woman.

➪ And the second picture is of rabindranath Tagore

Rabindranath Tagore, a Bengali poet, was born on May 7, 1861 in Calcutta. He was a playwright, novelist, painter and a composer. He is often remembered for his poetic songs, which are both spiritual and lively. He was the first non-European to win a Nobel Prize. Apart from Jana Gana Mana (the National Anthem of India), his composition ‘Amar Shonar Bangla’ was adopted as the National Anthem of Bangladesh and the National Anthem of Sri Lanka was inspired by one of his works. His most important works include Gitanjali, Manasi and Chitrangada. He died on August 7, 1941 in Calcutta.

Hope it helps !
