Jawaharlal Nehru's birthday is celebrated as children's day in India. He was a great freedom fighter. He helped India to gain independence from the british rule. His father's name was Motilal Nehru and his mother's name was Swaruprani. Jawaharlal Nehru wrote an autobiography known as Toward Freedom. He died on 27 May 1964
