I know it. Around the World in Eighty Days is a novel by Jules Verne. It is about the wealthy Phileas Fogg who makes a bet with his friends, that he can travel all around the earth in 80 days. He immediately starts of with his newly employed French butler. He meets and travels along with another partner he meets in Bombay. He is also tailed by a detective who suspects him of robbery. How he wins the bet, what he learns from his travels, and what he does after returning to his home in London forms the story.
