On Sunday, 22 January, 1905, the peaceful procession workers of Russia, reached the winter palace of the tsar to present a petition.

\textbf{This was led by Father Gapon.}

But they were fired at indiscriminately by police and the cossacks, resulting in the death of more than 100 workers with 300 workers wounded.

This was later known as "Blood-y Sunday" in Russian history.

And, This started a series of events that became known as 1905 revolution.
