Poverty line is that line which measure whether a man is poor or not . There is a poverty line based on the income and another based on consumption .
It is a level that below it a family or an individual is classified as poor.

There is two types of person
1 Below poor line (BPL)
2. Above poor line (APL)
people come under BPL are poor.
It is measured by government of the country.
