Brahmagupta was the scholar who first calculated the value of Pi. He was a mathematician as well as an astronomer from India.
Brāhmasphuṭasiddhānta and Khaṇḍakhādyaka are two mathematics and astronomy books authored by him.
These were his early works. He was also the first person who gave the rules of calculating with zero.
