The Brahmins or the Brahmanas performed the religious tasks in the later vedic period and Aryan priest performedreligious tasks during the early vedic period

Explanation:

  • Early Vedic was a "polytheistic religion". By singing hymns to and correctly sacrifying, the Aryan priests may obtain for the people's blessings, or stop illness and death from demons &  spirits on earth. To address the gods, no temples or pictures were needed. Instead, a fire was lit on an altar of worship specially made. This could occur in a home where the family patriarch hoped for a son or in the open, where the clan chief tried to maintain his people's well-being. Aryan  Priests were asked to attend the service and perform the ceremony
  • Society also changed in the later Vedic period. Aryan society has been organised in the past as a fluid social structure, containing three groups of priests, warriors and women & men. However, in the later Vedic Period this social arrangement became more bureaucratic and static. Societal religious & political leaders created a framework for classifying individuals into 'broad categories of occupation.' The types of varna are considered to be Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra.
  • The Brahmin were the priests who were responsible for memorising and communicating the Vedas orally & sacrificing to establish good relations with the gods. The Aryans' faith also grew in new ways during the later Vedic Period. As one of the most important religious traditions of the world, Hinduism becomes diversified and included several historical layers of development. Brahmanism was the first layer.
  • Brahma continues with the Rig Veda, a planet ruled by a multitude of deities. The Aryaans clarified the world in the early Vedic period, through myths, and their priests attempted to control them through rituals of sacrifice. These priests became the "Brahmin varna".
  • Since then Brahmans have become the most respected and powerful caste. They started leading the people's sacrifices and ceremonies, and from later Vedic times started to enjoy rights. They occupied the position of teachers and priests in the society.
