3. Jawaharlal Nehru and Subhash Chandra Bose became more assertive and wanted a more radical change.

4. In December 1929, under the presidency of Jawaharlal Nehru, the Lahore Congress formalised the demand of 'Purna Swaraj' or full Independence for India.

5. 26 Jan 1930 was declared as the Independence Day. The immediate outcome of this was the start of salt march followed by launch of civil disobedience movement.
