linnaeus introduced binomial nomenclature
rules are:-
first name is genus and second is species name which is specific in larticular genus.
secound they are written in italics and when hand written they are underlined
third genus name starts whith capital and species name with small letter
they are the latin words because in latin there is one and only one word for specific thing and every word have only one meaning.
if this helped u i will be thankful

The adoption by biologists of a system of strictly binomial nomenclature is due to Swedish botanist and physician Carl von Linné, more commonly known by his Latinized name Carl Linnaeus(1707–1778).
•Rules of binomial nomenclature:
1.The entire two-part name must be written in italics (or underlined when handwritten).
2.The genus name is always written first.
3.The genus name must be capitalized.
4.The specific epithet is never capitalized.
