Cell theory was proposed by M.J. SCHEIDEN (1838) and T.SCHWANN (1839)

Their were many scientists who discovered different things like cell rbc sperm cell vacoules protoplasm but the main were these two who proposed whole cell theory. Cell theory was based on everything includesin a cell.
