Carolus Linnaeus proposed the binomial nomenclature.
the conventions of writing the scientific name are -
1. each organism have two names :- the first name is called the genus name and the second name is called the species name.
2. the genus name is always begin with capital letter and species name begins with small letter.
3. the scientific name should be written in italics.
