Ivan Pavlov (1849-1936) propounded the stimulus response theory.

Stimulus-Response Theory is an important phenomenon as well as the concept in psychology subject of study.

This refers and based on the belief that behavior manifests as a result of the interaction between stimulus and responses. Ivan Pavlov (1849-1936) propounded this classical conditioning, the first concept of stimulus-response theory.

This is an important concept in modern psychology.

It is a  stimulus-response theory is applied to any form of treatment in which a specific stimulus comes to be accompanied by a particular phycological response in the mind of the subject.
