Vishwanath Tukaram Patil as a Member of Parliament represented Kolhapur in the 3rd Lok Sabha which sat between 1962 to 1967. Born in Sangli district, Bombay Presidency. Graduated from University of Bombay with degree of law. He had his legal practice in Kolhapur. He is the co-founder of Shri Mouni Vidyapeeth and was involved in the establishment of Tararani Vidyapeeth's Junior College of Education. He was also a member of Indian National Congress.
