Saint Janeshwara(or Gyaneshwara)

Explanation:

  • Sant Dnyaneshwar was a great saint of Maharashtra thirteenth century. He composed Dnyaneshwari. Sant Dnyaneshwar is counted among the great saints and Marathi poets of India. These saints were contemporary of Namdev and with him they traveled all over Maharashtra, introduced people to knowledge and devotion and preached equality, equanimity. They are also considered among the 'proto-promoters' of Maharashtra-culture.
  • Gyandev's eldest brother Nivrittinath had received a sermon from Gahininath of the Nath sect. He conveyed that spiritual heritage through Gyandev to his younger sister Muktabai. In this way, in Paramarth Marg, in a grateful and social way, Puneet Gyandev wrote a commentary in Marathi on Srimad Bhagavad Gita with the aim of providing a simple introduction to spirituality to the aged. The name of this is Bhavarthadeepika or Dnyaneshwari.
