Thakurdas Bhargava called it as the soul of constitution. The preamble is a part of the constitution statute but it is not a part of the constitution. It is its identity card said by N. A Palkhivala.

Thakurdas Bhargava stated the wise words- " Preamble is the key of Constitution". He referred the Preamble as the soul of the Constitution as it proclaim the solemn resolution of Indian people to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN, SOCIALIST, SECULAR, DEMOCRATIC republic. The Preamble secure all its citizens JUSTICE on social, economic and political strata. LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief and worship. EQUALITY of status and oppurtunity. Thus Preamble stand as the key functionary of the Constitution.
