As on 7th of October 1881 the mysore representive assembly was organised by the great dewaan Shri C.V.Rangacharlu by encouragement from the then Maharaja Chamraja Wodeyar.The mysore representive assembly was a first of its kind panchayat of panchayat.It was a kind of experiment to organise the legislature and judicial proceedings in a formal manner.It was really a big success and was later followed in other states too.
