Hi there. On 26th of September, 1924,  in Punjab Province, the Hindustan Times was founded by Sunder Singh Lyallpuri, founder-father of the Akali movement, and the political party Shiromani Akali Dal. The inauguration was led by Mahatma Gandhi.

This Indian English-language daily newspaper is still in publication 95 years after.
