Maurad stole the horse . he stole it bcz he wanted to take ride. They belong to Garoghlanian tribe who was famous for its honesty and integrity . they didn't want to bring bad name to their tribe . so it was their conscience which didn't allow him to steal horse. that's why they returned it to its rightful owner ,John Byro
