Oh it's easy, every formulas and know the basics of those formulas as how were they derived. After learning these basics and as well formula, practise hard on solving different question and mark the question which you fail to do or could not understand. Do not lazy off or give up if you wana top in mathematics in class:). Ask your associative the question you were having problem. You have many supporters, your friend/teachers/classmates/neighbours/parents. I am sure some of them might come in handy :) but they won't help you during exams so keep remember these advice of mine:)
