who to start before reciting a poem

first just introduce yourself then give short info of poem then tell name of poem and then start reciting poem.

first introduce yourself, tell your name and class. tell the name of the poem and the poets name. if it is anonymous mention that it is. if it is for a competition or if you want to make it more interesting, give a brief introduction about it. then start the poem. use gestures and give good expressions....hope this helped you...:-)
