OR

Note :- Here the meaning of the sentence isn't changed in both of the above sentences. The style of speaking depends upon the speaker about how he/she wants to put up his/her statement.

Rules for changing voice :-

  • Change the object of the active sentence into the subject of the passive sentence.
  • Use the verb 'to be' in the same tense as the main verb of the active sentence.
  • Use participle of the main verb of the active sentence.

Some examples :-

The children played football yesterday (Active)

Football was played by the children yesterday (Passive)

Rahul is eating curry (Active)

Curry is being eaten by Rahul (Passive)

The children will visit the zoo tomorrow (Active)

The zoo will be visited by the children tomorrow (Passive)
