IN THE 13TH CENTURY, THE TERM HINDUSTAN WAS USED BY MINHAJ-I-SIRAJ A THIRTEENTH CENTURY PERSIAN CHORONICLER, FOR THE FIRST TIME. WITH THIS TERM ,HE MEANT THE AREAS BETWEEN GANGA AND YAMUNA.
