Solution :-

Basawan was a noted painter in Mughal Emperor Akbar's court. He was a miniature painter in Mughal style. He was known by his contemporaries as a skilled colorist and keen observer of human nature and for his use of portraiture in the illustration of 'Akbarnama', Mughal Emperor Akbar's official biography.

Over 100 paintings are attributed to Basawan. His son Manohar Das succeeded him as court painter. Manohar Das's earliest works were painted for Akbar, and then later he was in the service of Akbar's son and successor Jahangir.
