Mohinder Singh Sardar joined Indian army in the year 1942. He was a trained Intelligence officer. In 1943, he was given an Intelligence mission on behalf of Indian National Army to reach Calcutta and contact Shri Hari Das Mitra, son –in-law of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose’s brother. In 1944, he operated a secret radio transmitter of Azad Hind Fauj Behala, Calcutta. He was arrested by the british in 1944, December and was sentence to death. He was executed in the Lahore Fort in 1945.
