- The seventh Mughal Emperor of India, Bahadur Shah I was born 375 years ago, on October 14, 1643. Bahadur Shah I was the third son of Aurangzeb with Muslim Rajput wife, Nawab Bai. Bahadur Shah I ruled over India from 1707 to 1712, until his death. His reign was mix of both, rejoice and controversy.
