Bindusara was the great and second Mauryan emperor of India.
His father was Chandragupta maurya the founder of Mauryan empire.
He had ruled for some 28 years.
His wife was subhadrangi and had a son named Ashoka who succeeded the throne after the demise of bindusara.
It is believed that bindusara died in the 273BC.
