The father of Indian modernization is Ram Mohan Roy.
He belongs to an orthodox family and is a Brahmana by birth.
He lives in the district Burdwan of West Bengal and was educated in Arabic, Persian and above all Sanskrit.
He was also educated in Greek, Latina and Hebrew with deep understanding of Muslim and Hindu law.
