EXPLANATION:

The Hindus, Parsis, and other communities have moved forward in education and social development while the Muslims remain averaged from the British government. The Muslims were disappointed to have Persian replaced by English as their language (1835), but the other cultures accepted him. They were much more enthusiastic about English than the Muslims did. The government services were a major career path for the poor in a country that grew poorer by the year because of company practice, and those opportunities were missed by Muslims! In Uttar Pradesh and Bengal, the situation was particularly acute. Since Bengal's fall in 1757 the British have been reserved for all the higher positions of military, judicial, and civil services.
