Dr BR ambedkar was the chairman of Drafting committee...
he had played a key role in preparation of our indian Constitution .
each and every detail of our Constitution was written extensively and in detail,making it the biggest written Constitution.
at the time of adoption of it in 1948 it had 395 articles and 8 schedules
at present we have 444 articles and 12 schedule
a Drafting committee was set up under the chairman of ambedkar and it's task was to prepare the final draft taking in account all view points..various important aspects of Constitution were discussed in great depth and Assembly gave broad directions on them..
the final draft was presented before CA for discussion and approval.it finally adopted on 26th novem 1949 and it came into force on 26th january 1950..
