Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, one of the eminent personalities of India was born on 14 April, 1891. He was ill treated by many people for his born identity as a Dalit. But later he became the leader of Dalit people who were denied of rights based on their caste. And in 1947 he became the law minister of Indian government. Under his leadership Indian constitution was framed out and he also focused on the discrimination against the untouchables. But he later resigned because of the disappointment that he lacked in influencing the government. He followed Buddhism because of the practice of  untouchability. He dies on 6 December, 1956.
