Edison, or Thomas Edison, was an American inventor and businessman. He is very well known for creating the incandescent light bulb but he also created the phonograph, film, movie camera's, the kinetoscope, the electric pen, the mimeograph, the vitascope, the kinetophone, the phonomotor, the tasimeter, electric power distribution, phonograph cylinder, the carbon microphone, the vacuum diode, the quadruplex telegraph and the kinetograph.
The invention that made Edison famous was the incandescent light bulb. He tried 1000 times before he could get it right and he never gave up.
