\bigstar Samudragupta was the first ruler in India who hath introduced the currency system in the fourth century.

\bigstar He had published gold coins with numismatics and it contained different kinds of information regarding the king, subject, kingdom and traditions even related to social cultures.

\bigstar Eight kinds of coins were introduced by Samudragupta are namely Archer, Battle Axe, Chandragupta-1, Kacha, Tiger, Lyrist and Ashvamedha.

All kinds of coins were inscrpted with pictographs, manuscripts and literary sources. But popularly the coins introduced by Samudragupta is known as Kacha. And being the first ruler having the idea of introducing currency system by removing the barter system the historians often used to say him as the, "the exterminator of all kings".
