Gopal Chandra Mukhopadhyay, popularly known as Gopal Patha, was an Indian businessman known as the savior of Calcutta for raising Bharat Jatiya Bahini to protect the Hindu people from the Muslim League attacks during the Heinous Calcutta Killings.
When everyone was opposing the partition of india, the muslims started killing the hindus with knifes. The did not even leave women and children. So gopal, in order to protect hindus, attacked themuslims and killed many. But Gandhiji started crying on this and asked him to throw weapons... but he didn't.... So nehru was jealous of him...
