according to me ashoka was greater than akbar. this is because ashoka was not only a great ruler but was a kind ruler too. Akbar, in contrary fought wars and was gentle sometimes. But ashok underwent a dramatic transformation in his life and turned into a pious and kind king(priyadarshi) from a fierce and verocious king. India remebers him as a great soul who was not only a conqueror but a kind hearted man too who leter preached buddhism. He was a true hindu king whereas akbar was a mughal by birth. Also India's flag has the famous ashok chakra in his honour. Bravery is not only measured by fighting wars......India's soldiers who have displayed exemplary courage are still inspired by ashok's words:jai janani!!!
