Gunda Dhur was from village Nethanar.
The forest people didn't have any leader during early years of 20 th century. But many of them used to speak about ideology of Gunda Dhur. In 1910 , Gunda Dhur played a major role in revolution.
He encouraged people to protest against British. Bazaars were looted , the grain collected from there was distributed among people , police station was burnt under leadership of Gunda Dhur.

Although , British managed to control over rebellion but they never captured Gunda Dhur .
In many ways his work led to major victory for the rebels.
