Ans.
Mr Huxter is a general dealer who owns a shop across the road from the inn at the Iping village where Griffin is staying. He is called along with the others neighbours when Mrs hall is thrown out of the room by the Invisible Man.
Huxter first refuses to believe that she has been thrown out by someone not visible. Huxter is later injured in the encounter when the Invisible Man tries to escape. In another incident, when Marvel is stealing books of formulae, Huxter gives him a chase but trips over the Invisible Man. He also gives a testimony later for an article about the Invisible Man in the St. James’ Gazette read by Dr. Kemp.
